About Us
Charlotte's Academic Playhouse is family-owned and operated in Mountain House, CA. Since we opened in 2011, we’ve treated every costumer like they were a part of our family. Other Daycare Providers may offer similar services, but our services come with a personal touch.
At Charlotte’s Academic Playhouse our goal is to provide a safe and loving environment where each child will flourish. We will provide hands on activities that each child can do on his/her own and at his/her own pace. These activities will allow a child to establish his/her own individual creativity. Some group activities will also be provided where the children will work with one another as well as the teachers. We feel the spirit of teamwork and cooperation is essential for all children and staff members. Through both of these approaches the goal of the staff is to work together with parents towards developing the whole child and preparing each child for their transition to the next level. Areas such as social, emotional, physical, creative, and cognitive development are all emphasized.
I have worked in Early Childhood since January 1990. I started working in a large family daycare as an assistant, with a wonderful role model and mentor. I attended Solano Cummunity College and recived over 65 units in Early Childhood. After working in the family daycare for 3years I began my career in a center. I eventually became the Director and worked their for 15 years. I currently hold a Associate Teaching permit.
